Stroke Recovery Care at Home

Click here for a detailed list of services we provide for Stroke Recovery.

There are over 4 million people in the US who have survived a stroke or brain attack and are living with the after-effects. The after-effects can range from mild to severe disabilities. The millions of husbands, wives, or children who live with and care for stroke survivors are also deeply affected by the incident because caring at home for stroke survivor alters their own lifestyles.

Rehabilitation processes are used to enhance the recovery and to minimize any functional disability. The goal in rehabilitation is to improve function so that the stroke survivor can become as independent as possible. This must be accomplished in a way that preserves dignity and motivates the survivor to relearn basic skills that the stroke may have taken away - skills like eating, dressing, and walking. The patient, their family members, and their caregivers are all essential members of this rehabilitation process.

Taking Care at Home for a stroke survivor

Caring for a stroke survivor can be stressful. You may be faced with many concerns - will your loved one recover from their disability? Will they be able to cope with the many challenges of their disability? Will they continue to be able to live at home?

At Cloverleaf Care we make the transition from hospital to home easier on everyone. We have specialized programs that enable us to work closely with the rehabilitation process and integrate it into the care at home. We have helped many stroke patients recover faster and better than was anticipated by incorporating the required therapy into our daily care at home routine. Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) are specially trained to provide Stroke Recovery Care at Home. Our Home Care Aides assigned to clients recovering from stroke are hand picked for their training and experience with stroke and the ensuing rehabilitation. These Home Care Aides regularly receive ongoing training and classes through our proprietary in-house stroke recovery care training modules to remain qualified to provide care to patients recovering from stroke induced disability. We are familiar with the various equipments as well as transferring techniques used by stroke patients and can help you seamlessly integrate these processes into care at home for your loved one.

Our Stroke Recovery Home Care Services are available hourly, or in one of our many packages. Whether your loved one needs regularly scheduled care or you need respite in caring for your loved one, we will provide you with quality care you can depend on and trust.
