Our Personal Care Services for home care assistance include all the services in Home Companion Care as well as the following additional services:

  • Bathing - Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) will bathe your loved one as often as they would like including shampooing their hair. We can bathe your loved one in the shower or even do bed bath or sponge bath if they cannot be taken to the shower.
  • Incontinence - Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) will provide incontinence care if your loved one is unable to go to the toilet. Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) will change their underwear as needed and maintain hygiene. In some cases the elder may be able to go to the bathroom but unable to properly clean up after themselves. Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) will help in such situations to maintain your loved one's hygiene and also encourage their independence.
  • Dressing - Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) will help your loved one get dressed; be it simple assistance with balance or complete help with dressing or undressing.
  • Grooming - Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) will help with basic grooming, trimming facial hair with electric trimmer, shaving with electric razor, grooming hair and nails.

  • Transferring - Your loved one may be limited in their mobility; either unable to bear weight or move from bed to chair or wheelchair. Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) are trained on many different transferring techniques and will assist your loved one in and out of bed, into and out of the shower, to and from the bathroom, in and out of chair or wheelchair. Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) are also qualified to use various transferring and lifting equipment such as hoyer lifts, transfer boards and gait belts.
