At the same time we provide emotional support to the family and loved one's of the client. Good pain management and symptom management keeps a patient feeling comfortable. Being able to come out of the bed and sit in a chair for a while, or be able to enjoy the outdoors, receiving hygiene and personal care so the patient feels clean and comfortable - these little attentions can make a very big difference to the patient's happiness and comfort and often makes the patient feel better as well.
The experience of hospice is an experience of care and support and is different from any other type of care. Our Home Care Aides (caregivers) are specially trained to provide Hospice Supportive Care. Our hospice specialized Home Care Aides are hand picked for their caring and compassionate personalities and their ability to truly support the client and their family through this difficult time. These Home Care Aides regularly receive ongoing training and classes through our proprietary in-house hospice care training modules to remain qualified to provide hospice supportive care at home.
